Newell Economic Development
The Newell Economic Development Corporation was formed in 1996 for the purpose of promoting economic development and soliciting businesses to come to Newell.
Recent manufacturers who have re-located to Newell include K Bar J Leather Company, a manufacturer of Western chaps and chinks.
Other assets of the Newell community include:
Work force--- there is a large number of people available within 10 miles of Newell looking for work. They are farm men and women looking for off-farm employment. They are hard working, dedicated, loyal employees, according to current employers.
Cost of land--- very reasonably priced.
Utilities are close by and reasonable also.
